Shipping 30rd mags to MD from other states?

Ok, so I am about to buy myself the New Ruger SR-556. here in MD I cannot purchase 30rd mags so the dealer is giving me some 20rders. I am going on a business trip to FL next month and I was curious... If I buy some 30rders down there, and I put them in my checked luggage and take them back to MD?

In Maryland it is illegal to buy any magazine over 20 rds. You can own them just can't buy them here. They call this the free state Yea right. Joe..... PS I would not pack any magazine in my checked luggage.(Not worth getting your luggage X rayed) Just when you have time ride up to PA and get all you want.
