Ship to Canada from US

Ok I am looking for real info on the facts about shipping a magazine from the US to Canada.
Can I do this?
problems?

Thanks!

As long as it's a handgun magazine that doesn't hold more than 10 rounds of the ammunition for which it's designed, no problem; if it does, it'll be scooped by Customs when the package enters Canada.

Depends on what kind of firearm the magazine is for, and its capacity. You need to satisfy Canadian firearms law - which in general restricts handgun magazine capacity to 10 rounds or less. There may also be restrictions based on the firearm the magazine will work in (ie. does it fit and function in any restricted weapons, which include just about any handgun with a barrel shorter then 4").

Since firearm owners must be licensed in Canada, and the firearms themselves registered, I don't know how that affects a recipient of a magazine in Canada.

"...just about any handgun with a barrel shorter then 4"..." All handguns with less than a 4.1" barrel are considered evil.
Our stupid mag capacity laws don't affect you though. Unless Canada Customs decides the mag is evil. That'd be a larger than 10 round mag that is not pinned to 10 shots before it hits the border. Including mag bodies.
In any case, one mag shouldn't need a U.S. export permit.
