Dear Sir,

The P220ST will not be available in 10mm. Please do not hold your breath,
it will make you dizzy, and not even if you bought two. Sorry.

Thank you very much for choosing SIGARMS,

The following was just submitted to the FAQs:

Question: So when can we expect the 220ST to be introduced in 10mm?
Should I not hold my breath? Will it help if I promise to buy two?

Two things (really three) have to happen in order to get Sig to manufacture a 10 mm P220 ST. First, machining time has to be available. In other words, business has to be slow and few government contract on the horizon. Two, gun has to be commissioned by a major distributor in volume. At least 300 to 500 units. Only way that's going to happen is the continual harassment for the gun by gun buyers. And I mean harass, like in bug them to death.

I'm leaving for Shot Show in a hour. I'll do my part!

Start the campaign!

Invite one of their sales reps over to take a look at all the "I wish XYZ made their uber-pistol in 10mm" or " I would buy a 10, if so-in-so made one"
There is demand, and LOTS of it. The gun makers are just ignoring the serious gun croud to please the folks that just want to buy one handgun like the police/military carry and shoot it once a year. In my observations, the serious shooter might not outnumber the scared sheep and mall ninjas, but we spend the most money. My local gun shop might have 3 scared sheep come in and buy pistols and one box of holowpoints every week, never to return. he sells that many guns just to me in a month, and I'm there atleast once a week buying, holsters, sights, springs, ammo, cases, reloading suplies, cleaning acoutraments, etc.

Gunmakers...you guys need to keep your customer base of serious shooters and collectors happy, and let the rest follow.
