SGS 92FS Compensator - is it good?

I just received mine from the guy at berettaforum who's making SGS style compensators based upon the original design. It is very well made. And I love mine. The added weight and the ports keep the muzzle nearly flat. And it looks way cool. I put 50 rounds through mine without any issues. However, there is a downside. By the very nature of the design, the compensator will leave wear marks on your frame and barrel. You cannot see these marks once the compensator is installed. But it's best to make the gun a dedicated comp gun. Also, you have to keep an eye on the screw which holds the compensator to the recoil guide rod. If it backs out, you could jam up your gun. I would buy one, just be aware of the wear mark issue.
