I have been working on replacement Flippers, Plungers and Springs for the original parts that have always been a weak link in the design of the gun. I have received many emails from people asking for these parts. I have been working with a local machine shop on a steel flipper to replace the original and offer to shooters who have broken ones. My father, Sig Himmelmann, has been making sure the quaility of these new steel flippers are much higher than the original powered metal ones that were installed in the factory guns. The flippers have been tested to be a drop in part. There may be a little bit of adjustment needed to the front edge to allow the cylinder bolt not to drop too far when cocking the gun. Again these new parts are STEEL and have a .060 diameter pivot hole as the guns were made prior to 1984. After that I beleive if the pivot pin is a different diameter the hole can be opened up to the larger size.
I was told today (March 27) the shop has 100 flippers ready and is working on the plungers.
