Just so you know, I voted correctly before watching the video! I want say it's because I knew for fact because of personal experience. That would not be it at all.

As a kid, one of my daily jobs was to take the garbage out to the burn barrel in the back yard and burn it. My mother sometimes would clean and various cartridges and shells would accidentally get put in the wrong garbage and they would be burnt. Never had a bullet or shot go thru the barrel or even bulge it, regardless of how rusted and burnt out it was. In most cases the bullets/shot were found right alongside the empty case in the ashes. Of course, back then, most shotgun shells had paper hulls.........

I'm one of those conventional guys that shoot my shotgun shells off in a shotgun.

I was on the Bomb Squad when I was in LE. Part of my job was post blast investigations.

Meaning when people did stupid stuff I would be sent to police up fingers and other assorted body parts.

I witnessed a taxidermist /gun shop burn down.
When the fire reached the ammunition it became quite the show.
The building was fully engulfed by then and the exploding ammo sent shrapnel bursting through the exterior walls with an impressive shower of sparks.
The fire fighters had to just take cover and watch it burn.

If you google "SAAMI Ammo Fire" or something like that, you can find a lengthy video where they burn all kinds of ammo. Their conclusion (and the reason I felt safe doing this experiment) was that there was no danger with minimal protection like face shields.
