I'm researching different auto loaders and was wondering if anyone has any experience with Set Point. It's about $100,000 more than all others in looking at. Is it worth the additional money?
1. Is this a shotgun or is it a reloading device/equipment?
2. Since you are researching this family of whatever it is, are you seriously about to pull the trigger on buying this product which undoubtedly cost well over a hundred thousand dollars? (color me curious)
3. If it is not a reloading device, why are you posting it in the reloading sector of the Forum?
According to my Google-fu skills, Set Point is a brand of automatic loading equipment, as in, factory level stuff. It literally makes the ammo 100% for you, it is not a press. They make case forming equipment, priming machines, and loading machines that are completely automated.
OP, this is not really something the average reloader has, uses, or even knows about. Unless you plan on starting an ammunition company, this is not what you need. Get a copy of the ABCs of reloading or the Lee Reloading Manual and read about hand loading and you will have a better understanding of what the standard equipment is. If you are genuinely interested in something like the Set Point equipment, then I apologize for saying to start with the basics, but I doubt anyone on this forum will be able to offer any insight.
