serial number question

I didn't know which sub-forum to go, so I'll try here first. I have a Springfield 1911 Mil-Spec with serial number WW21776. (or is it 1776WW2?) I am not at home at the present time so I cannot get the gun out of my safe to check. In fact, I'm in Hawaii.
In any case, with a serial number like that, is there any extra value to a gun with two very significant dates in American history on it (WW2 and 1776)

I'm not really up on the Springfield Armory 1911 pistols, but I believe they made a model some years ago where all the serial numbers started with WW.

The serial number might bump the price up a little bit if the buyer really likes the idea, but the gun itself is probably going to be thought of primarily as a shooter rather than a collectible.

I have a first year of production pistol( pre Brazil) and the s/n begins with WW so as stated above it was just the way they did it back then.
