Serial Number all zeroes on S&W--significant?

I recently bought a S&W 5904 blue 9mm semi-auto from a friend. The serial number is TDE0000. I own a lot of guns but this is the only Smith. Is there any significance to the zeroes in the serial number or is it just a novel coincidence?

I know the 5904 isn't made anymore, I was just wondering if this was indicative of an early prototype pistol or if the TDE means it's the ump-teen thousandth gun off of the line?

Any ideas?

Nope, not really. Just the first one in TDE serial number range made.

Every 10,000th one has a similar serial number.

Depending on when it was made, there might have been 20 of the same gun come off the line that year with 4 naughts in the serial number.

I once got to handle S&W Triple Lock, serial number 3. That's always neat looking at it and realizing that it was the third one hit by the bunter.
