Just curious here. I looked at a Sendero SFI a few weeks back someone was selling. The barrel was taped up with peeling tape and glue residue all over it, stock was worn slick and scratched a bit, trigger was good and the bore seemed good. The gun just had an overall used look to it. I know it was an older gun, with Leupold bases on it. The guy wanted $880.00, he came down to $650, I offered $550 because of the appearance of the rifle. Looking it up in the Standard Catalog which is a few years old, I offered a more than fair price. Is an older Sendero bringing more than a book value based on condition? I'd buy it for what I offered but not for what he wanted.
I'm looking for a heavier profiled barrel on a 7mmRM. I'd love to have a Sako Roughtech Range but, they aren't importing them at this time. The Weatherby Accumark V is nice but considerable more than the Sendero SFII, Cabelas Sako Range and the Remington 700 Long Range.
