Send back my Sig Trailside?

It doesn't fire on a seated round about every 50 shots or so. No, I haven't cleaned it in the last 200 rounds, but that doesn't seem like a lot. Also, I have mentioned before that it spits out hot black carbon from the ejection port, which I think is accumulating near the feed ramp. I know .22's soemtimes are dirty guns, but am I being unreasonable to expect a .22 to go bang every time? Should I send it back? This is my first Sig, and I am not overly impressed.

BTW, Gun is is 4 months old, and I fire Remington or Federal copper-plated ammo. I've tried CCI, but not much improvement, and too expensive in my opinion.

I believe you should suspect your ammo. I've used all the ammo you've mentioned and gotten frequent jams in all my .22's. If the jams are bothersome, try some match ammo before u look to the gun to determine the problem.....Dan in GA
