Here's a letter I sent to Mr. Jon E. Dougherty at World Net Daily. Perhaps he and some of your other favorite writers might benefit from a heads-up.

Dear Mr. Dougherty,
Being one of your loyal readers, I assume you must be hard at work on an article about recent events in Massachusetts, the "Cradle of Liberty."
Our AG, Mr. Reilly has, by applying consumer regulations written by previous AG Harshbarger, made it illegal for a "handgun purveyor" to sell any new handgun in Massachusetts. (See "AG Reilly Set to Enforce
Strict, First-in-Nation Handgun Safety Regulations http://www.ago.state.ma.us/regs.asp)
At least no sidearm I know fits his requirements -- not SIG, not Glock, nothing (see http://www.ago.state.ma.us/cmr2.pdf). Gun store owners report that manufacturers stopped and recalled all shipments to the state last Sunday. Even the AG's office (617-727-2200) cannot tell you which handguns, if any, satisfy the regulations.
Coincidentally, Massachusetts' Gun Owners Action League (GOAL) is sponsoring a rally on the Boston Common, Monday morning, April 24. A march around the state house will be followed at 11:30 by speakers featuring Roy Innis of the Congress of Racial Equality. Originally planned to bring attention to the inequities and problems of recent gun regulations, this rally has taken on obviously greater importance and significance.
The "template" press is portraying these new laws as just another safety regulation requiring trigger locks and banning "Saturday Night Specials."
Please help get the facts out there. Please let people know about the Boston Common Rally.
If you need more up-to-the-minute info, give the folks at GOAL a call. They're awesome.

Thank you Jon, for all your great work.
