Watched a "news" show today talking with the
liberal Senator from NY, He was ask the biggest change in America the past 40 years
his answer,illegitimate children (break down
of family) went from 6 percent in 1960 to
over 35 percent now. He then went on say no
one knows why, but much good had been done
through are liberal society.(huh)He was then
ask if our country would improve,he said,
referring to the fall of the Roman Empire
that it would only get worse so enjoy what
you have.(huh)!!!
Do they not understand and just don't care./?
(my question)

Was "Danny boy" pickled or in control of his limited faculities?

Hey, he is better than Hitlery Clinton.

Daniel is one truly smart guy. It is true that he is very antigun but his analysis of social issues is well worth considering.

He got into considerable trouble pointing out the illegitimacy rate increase in minority families and the breakdown of that society.
He was concerned when the number hit 35%.

Now in some groups the number is 60% to 70% and you see the problems of the inner city, barrio and their youth.

He now points out that the rate is hitting 35% for other subgroups and that predicts a similar breakdown of society.

You can be antigun but be on the money on other issues. You can be progun and a dope on some also. I pay attention to Moynihan's social commentary.

What's so smart about pointing out symptoms of social problems for which you are part of the cause?

Brady;
That was my point also here is a liberal
that has been part of the problem and he
does not understand what has caused the
breakdown of our society, but he does admit
it will only get worse.
"30 years of liberal schools"

30 years of liberal schools? Man, that doesn't even BEGIN to cover it.

30 years of welfare. 30 years of gov't "standards" for how you can raise your children (with jail time if you don't toe the line)

30 years of ever-increasing violence reported daily on the news, and glorified in the movies.

30 years of parental abdication of responsibility for their children.

30 years of "I'm a victim too".

and....

50 years of "nanny-state" government.

I'm sure folks can think of many more...

I remember this bozo because of his "fixing" Social Security back in the late 70s, early 80s.

At that time, I'd reach the SS deduction limit by late October, so I had extra bucks for Christmas. Then he "saved" SS by expanding the base and increasing the percentage. Each year, one or the other automatically kicked in. Also, each year, the deduction limit kept coming later and later, until it disappeared. I never did reach the limit again.

The only thing I like him for was his statement about the moral decline. He called it a "Diminuation of Deviation".

As much as I detest much of the policy he stands for, he does seem to be much more honest than most of his liberal soul-mates. He was harshly critical of the prez, but he voted not to convict.

Back when the NK's were making nuclear weapons noise, on "This Week" he advocated destroying the nuclear facilities via air attack. When Donaldson asked if that would be a massive radiation problem, Moynihan replied "It would be for the Koreans". Gotta admire that, even in an adversary.

This post could be re-titled "Moynihan, a perfectly good waste of a human being"! Hey, he's breathing MY air and creating tons of methane gas that is damaging our ozone. I say we make him leave the planet!
