Just wondering what is most often carried. Feel free to post about your carry gun, even put up pictures if you can.And yes, a machine pistol is a bit unlikely, but someone may own a Class III license.

I have a Tec-9M and it doesn't do anything that a Glock 17 with a 33 rd magazine can't do, however - it only has a 3" barrel on it, it weighs 44 oz, and is 9.5 inches long...

I can't image carrying this thing unless all my other guns were broken.

I try to limit my carry to revolvers and semi autos..... I find a machine pistol a bit awkward to carry. I do usually carry a couple of grenades if things get too sticky however. :)

I carried a revolver for many years, but I became convinced by the arguments for increased capacity of pistols and switched a few years ago.

I carry semi autos, its just what I like... I would carry revolvers if I had the urge.. For the most part many revolvers seem to have very high pull weights which I sincerely dislike as to me it reduces accuracy...

Both work well overall.

If I could carry, I would carry a semi-auto, although if I were to where something that would keep me from wearing a holster, it would be a j-framed revolver in a bellyband, I think they're called that, those things a lot of joggers wear, it wraps around your waist and it holds a gun?

From what I understand, the Class III License allows for the ownership of automatic weapons and SBR's, but I am not the most knowledgable on the topic, I wrote that in mostly as filler.

Ive carried this pocket pistol a few times. :D

As long as your state is NFA friendly, you pay a $200 tax for machine guns, SBR, SBS, suppressors, destructive devices. "Any other weapon" (factory manufactured SBS, pen guns, etc) is a $5 tax.

You do have to file some forms with the ATF, as well as a couple of fingerprint cards and passport photos, and get your chief LEO to sign the forms. Then you wait for them to do a background check. These days, thats a backlog running about 6 months.

The "quote" button is at the top of the box you type in. Its the symbol next to the # sign on the right side.

RIA CS for Fall, Winter (although if its cold enough for a parka, I'll toss a revolver in my outside pocket) and Spring, a S&W 469 for Summer time (whoo hoo Hawaiian shirts and shorts).

I also carry a .38 revolver with snake shot while riding during the Summer

I've seen carry rigs for machine guns like the MAC and the Uzi and HK. You'd be pretty foolish to carry a full auto for the purpose of concealed carry. You have to carry a copy of the ATF Form 4 with the weapon at all times. You get caught with the weapon outside your residence without the form and you're in deep do-do like you've never been before.

Consequently, using one for self defense outside the home - YIKES!:eek::eek::eek::eek:
