Having money problems.I have to sell 2 of my guns. Here is my list.witch two would you sell. My sigs p227 nitron carry p220 nitron carry p239 in 40cal n 357 cal p320 full size 9mm p320 compact in a 40cal n 357 cal a colt defender 45 cal and a ruger sr1911 45 cal full size.don't want to sell any of them but two have to go what would you pick if you were me.thank you :(:(

If I had to say I wouldn't name names. I would just say start with the one you use the least. There's probably a reason and beyond that the cheapest one to reacquire if you have to go that route.

The Ruger and 239...

Whatever you do keep the p220 and p227. In fact also sell both of the 320's to fund a full size p220.

I honestly can't tell what you have. Is this list right?

sigs p227 nitron carry 45 Auto - sell
p220 nitron carry cal?? - sell
p239 in 40cal with 357 sig conversion - maybe sell
p320 full size 9mm - keep
p320 compact in a 40cal with 357 sig conversion - maybe keep
Colt defender 45 cal - maybe keep
ruger sr1911 45 cal - keep

Frankly, I would sell like 4. Turn 2 into a new gun or 2 you want and 2 to fill your cash need.

I mostly agree with Nathan (good name BTW), except I would keep the Colt because it's a Colt, and the 220 Carry, which I am assuming is also a .45 ACP. All of the others are nothing particularly special or unique.

Do you carry any of these or have a specific one you trust to keep around the house for defense? If so, those go on the do not sell list and get rid of the others. And oh my, the caliber diversity would drive me bonkers! "Do I buy .45 or .40 this week? Wait, I think I'm low on 9mm! But have I used any .357 Sig lately?" Pick two and get rid of the others!

(I suggest this because my wife and I each have a specific "fun money" budget each month. In my case it helps me remember there is nothing wrong with my 9mms and .357/.38s that more practice ammo won't help. And I can load and buy more practice ammo for these than most other common calibers. ;) )

It's obvious, ain't it?
If you are selling due to money problems, then sell the ones that would bring in the most money.
Yes?
With as many as you will still have left, ten to one they won't even be missed.

I had the same problem. Punctuation marks aren't just for fun. I agree with the posters saying sell what you don't shoot. All your guns are quality firearms but none of them are special and can't be replaced later if you desire.

If you must sell, sell what you don't shoot a lot, but get the high end sell that you can eat until your next job pay check.

Hmmmmm

Pawn all of your guns. It will be exciting to see if you can bail them out in time! Let fate determine which ones you keep, or, determine it yourself. Me? I wouldn't leave it to someone else's opinion.

I had money\employment problems a few years ago. I sold the most expensive ones I had. When you need mortgage money, guns are secondary concerns.

Selling 3 shotguns, saved my house and my handgun collection. Probably never replace them, but that's just life. ;)

YES on the pawn shop , I had to pawn a few rifles but was able to pay back the pawn loan and got them back . Wish I would of known more about pawn shops years ago .
