selling/shipping pre-'68 (no serial #) gun?

I've got a Stevens 325B I'm about to put up for sale but have a question about shipping it first.

Keeping it short and sweet: Is selling/shipping a firearm that was made before 1968 with no serial number different than selling/shipping a newer firearm? I know all the rules/regulations about selling/shipping newer firearms but haven't a clue on these older ones. Thanks

I missed that also. serial numbers were required after 1968
