I have two pistols: Glock 17 and Beretta 92FS Inox. So I have a question: Is it safe to fire SELLIER & BELLOT 9mm, 115gr, ammo from these pistols? Will it damage the barrels of my "pets" besause these are steel bullets?

The 9mm Sellier & Bellot that I buy comes in a green and white box and is brass cased, with FMJ (copper jacket, not steel) bullets.

If that sounds like what you have, it is perfectly safe in your pistols. I shoot it thru four different Glocks without problems...

Sellier & Bellot does not sell steel jacketed bullets in the U.S., but according to a message I received from Ed Grasso, Sellier and Bellot U.S.A., dated 4/30/99, steel jacketed bullets are used outside the U.S.

"The standard bullet they used over 3 years ago had a small percentage of steel in the jacket. We have not had this type of bullet in the states for over two years. They still use this bullet in most of the other countries that they ship to."

I'd check with the Glock and Beretta to be certain.
