I think Hutch is pretty darn close on the value. Since the
Gun List link is not taking you to the classifieds I'll post the prices of the only three that are currently listed.
4", pinned & recessed, VG-Exc, $250
4", 99%, box, $425
2.5", as new, $275.
As to your questions; I'm admittedly not the best person to ask to compare the Smith to the Glock....since I love (used) Smiths and do not care for Glocks. So bear in mind that my opinion is biased.
The Glock is more concealable. However, carry methods can be employed that will make the model 66 concealable and comfortable. (I've carried a 6", "N" frame for over twenty years.
)
Obviously the Glock does have the higher capacity.
The Glock is faster to reload. However, personally I can reload with speed loaders faster than I can with a sprare mag. But then that is what I am practiced in.
The Glock (and not knowing Glock model numbers I'm assuming the 26 is a 9mm) will not compare to the power of the .357 even with +p loads. The 9mm is barely adaquate for a human preditor but nothing more.
Lastly the 6" .357 is perhaps the most versatile handgun in existants. If one were to have only one gun it (the 66) would be preferred over the Glock. The 66
can be concealed, albeit perhaps not as easily. It serves equally well as a target revolver or plinker. There are several folks out there that hunt game as large as deer with 6" .357's with great success. The cartridge itslef is argueably the most veratile cartridge in world as well.
But....and this is a big but, I am not the know all, ends all authority. You should choose the gun that best suits your taste, style and needs.
