Self teaching, help with proper grip?

Looking back at some video's I've taken of myself shooting handguns, I noticed that I have poor grip "technique?"

I can't afford classes sadly, and I really don't know anyone that has the know how in regards to this.

Can someone point me towards some good material to watch or read in regards to this? My current grip I shoot ok with, but if I can improve my technique I'd really rather do so.
 
Where do you shoot? If you can't afford classes, solicit advice from other shooters at the range. Most of us don't mind taking a few minutes to give pointers to a less-experienced shooter.

It's hard to coach or help someone without watching them shoot.

I will stir you to the CMP Bookstore, lots of good information for just about any type shooting you want.

But as mentioned, nothing beats a good coach, one on one.

Our shooting sports depends on us helping each other. You see it all the time at matches, people giving advice and help to their competitors.

I've never seen any one refuse to help another when asked and I've been shooting competition for over 35 years.
 
Or if you're into books, page 137 of William Cassidy's Quick or Dead has a very good illustration on proper grip and improper grips.
