Seeking some assist in finding replacment stock

Hi,
I have just obtained a beautifully factory engraved single barrel shotgun, it is older but I do not have an exact date. I am seeking a replacment stock and foregrip for it as the wood is damaged badly.

Info I have: Eagle Arms, Ny. Ny. imported by J.L. Galef and Sons 12 gauge, 3" magnum, folding style "companion" shot gun, receiver section is either stainless or nickle finish, highly facotry engraved on both sides, barrel is blued hexagon at base and round rest of length, low level flute with BB style sight at end. i have been told that this is a beretta/galef combined effort from when they were importing to the U.S. and was imported under the trade name of Eagle Arms. I have also been told that a beretta FS-1 is the same shotgun.:confused:

if anyone has any leads or info on where I can find a replacment stock and foregrip that would be great, i would really like to restore it, as it is in perfect firing order and great shape minus the wood, someone tryed to sand and refinish it and really goofed it up badly:mad:

anyhow please advise if you can point me into the correct direction for finding new furniture for it!

Galef imported Zabala Hermanos shotguns from Spain, and Antonio Zoli guns from Italy.

The Companion folder is simply listed as a hammerless 12, 16, 20, 28, or .410 gun.
Value for one in brand new condition is only about $125.00.
I suspect the Companion was made by Hermanos, and I have no idea where parts might be found.

Here's some possible sources. In all cases, you'll probably have to actually call them to ask about parts, but don't get your hopes up. Even is they have the stock parts, they'll likely cost you more than the gun is worth:

There appears to be lettering stamped on both sides of the frame around the hinge.
I can make out the word "Italy".

What else is stamped there?

Also, note that there are TWO Beretta companies.
The oldest is Pietro Beretta of Brescia Italy, and the other is Dr. Franco Beretta of Brescia and now Concesio, Italy.

if those are the gun whats wrong with stock??shoot it like it is.the average price for a buttstock is $65 and up the forend $35.:rolleyes::eek::D
 
What else is stamped there?

Okay lets see on left side in circle around hinge bolt it say's GARDONE-V.T ITALY-M.A.V.I and just beside that on side in custom engraved area it say's COMPANION PAT.n.45382-54476 and closer to stock there is a 1/2 size knights hooded crown inside the crown in very small lettering say's J.L.G. and smaller letters yet say's arms ammunition.

Right Side Say's around hinge bolt EAGLE ARMS N.Y. N.Y. in the custom engraved area it say's 12 guage 3" magnum and another 1/2 size knights crown with same markings as on the left.

there are a number of proof and quality trest stamps on it also upon the flat of the open breach, most of which are very hard to make out this what I can see with magnification, right side of reciever crown stamp with M.A.I.V. and just beside it the serial number 47***
Left side of reciever a series of 3 stampings very hard to see but in order from front to back 1)star or asterik above a crown with what looks like a rifle inside the crown or a slash mark of some sort 2) two of these star/asterik marks above the lerters PSF in odd font and 3) another star/asterik mark above very small letter ing that seems to read "finitio" in italic lettering, probably meaning finished or final approval?

On left side of barrel it states: MADE IN ITALY
Bottom of barrel under fore grip it is stamped: another series of crown markings 1) star/asteric/crown with rifles and below letters KG1, 2 star/aserik crown /psf and 220 below 3) another crown with finito below and 4) no crown just XXX and below that 18.2

That is every thing I can find satmped on the whole thing under magnification, there are no other stamps or marking on it even when disassembled.

Well the fore grip is physically sound and okay, it was sanded down teribly and sanding marks got into the checkering, and the finish is awful, it also is not an original one and does not match the butt stock . same terrible sanding goes on the butt stock but there are a number of cracks in the tang around the action and is very weak in that area, affraid its not very stong to shoot and handle the impact. besides, its a hobby of mine to resore these things, and this one is sentimental to me and would like to return it to its glory.
 
I have tried all three of the above links none of them are able to assist, been all over the internet and no luck any place so far, I guess I will have to try to repair the cracks with epoxy and some pins, the try to correct the previous damages to the checkering, then refininsh to a high standard the best I can with what I have to work with. the only down side to it is the grain on the stock and foregrip that I have do not match very well so I will probably have to go with a darker grade finish than I would normally prefer to hide some of the grain, Oh, well, at least it will be repaired and restored better than what I have now. Eagle Companion shot gun

Have you replaced the stock on this gun? If so, I am interested in the old one. I have one with a broken stock and cold live with the one you have.

I just obtained one of these guns in 20 gauge 3"
It says Italy and the markings are the same.
My question is , Was this a Berretta? If not hhen who made them and what is the value. In 2012
