Seecamp Question

I have a question about the magazine release on my .32 LWS..

I figure that it is meant to operate this way but wanted to check..

When releasing, the mag. will not drop down, even the slightest.
Must use a fingernail to pry it out..
Now I know that fast reloads are not required with this pistol, but it sure would help in practice rounds...

Thanks for your positive feedback in advance....

Hi Brenden,
The mag might not drop any when released empty. You could try some Wolff extra power mag springs, they'll give it that extra "push".

The mag on mine spits out about 1/4 of an inch empty or full.

Do you only have one mag?

How many rounds have you shot through it?

If after 100rds or so if no improvement try contacting seecamp, I hear fax is the best way to contact larry.

I used to have one and I seem to recall that mine did the same. As long as the gun works fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

Brenden,
Both of the magazines I have work like Pocketman’s. Empty or full, they release about a ¼ inch. I also second Pocketman’s advice about contacting Seecamp. :)

Brenden,
Get in touch with the company. Their fax no. is 203-877-3429.
Good luck, maybe it's just an out of spec mag.

I have two mags and neither one wants to come out, empty or full, and my brother has the same problem with his too.

We bought consecutive # guns and extra mag. direct from seecamp..

As I said before it doesnt bother me too awful much, but makes it difficult to practice, and also if this is not supposed to happen I will try to get a fix..
Thanks again for the help...

j-heart:Where did you get that laser site?

I got it from Seecamp:

L. W. Seecamp Co.
301 Brewster Rd
Milford, CT 06460-3700

Fax: 203-877-3429

(It costs $149.95 shipping included.)

The laser is called the “Pocket Slipper” (slipped in your pocket, the setup has a wallet imprint). It’s made by:

C.C. Manufacturing Co.
16163 Nordoff Street, #242
North Hills, CA 91343

(818) 362-8106.

C. C. Manufacturing Co. also makes one for the NAA Guardian, and maybe others. Note that it’s like a fixed sight as far as adjustability goes. It takes a little tinkering to get it where you want it, but once it’s there it stays put.
