Security Six rear sight pin.

I am trying to replace a damaged rear sight on a Ruger Security Six, but the pin holding it in place is stuck to the point where I can flatten brass punches against it and still not move it at all.

Is there a secret trick to remove the pin?
 
I'm going to say No on this only because I am actually in the exact same process. I inherited my Mom's Security Six with a damaged rear sight. I just removed the vertical screw and the sight lifted up and the pin just slid out.

I am looking at replacements on Numrich...Do you have another source?
