Security Six night sights

I'd like to get some night sights for my Ruger Security Six. The only offering seems to be the XS big dot sight, which I don't want. I'm not interested in glow in the dark paint or the like, but a fiber optic sight set might be in order if the night sights can't be done.

I see Meprolight makes front and rear night sights for the GP100 and a front night sight for the SP101.

Can someone with firsthand knowledge answer me this: Does a GP100 rear sight fit the Security six? Does a SP101 front sight fit the Security six?

Big Dot sells a set for the Ruger Security six.

The problem you are going to run into is that most sight sets for the GP are for the 4 to 6 inch models that have nice feature that allows you to easily swap out the front sight. Both the Speed and Security Six use pined in dove tail style for the front sight.

The 3 inch fixed sight GP model also uses the same setup. I can say from first hand experience that the factory fixed front sight blade for a GP will pretty much drop right into the Six models. I purchased 2 Speed Sixes with missing front sights and I used the factory blade for GPs with no problem.

I don't know for sure if the SP front blade will fit. I would surprised if Ruger maintained 2 different fixed sight blade for what (I would think is) basically the same barrel.
