Security Six cylinder play

I recently acquired a like-new Ruger Security Six .357Mag. It appears to have been fired very little. Overall, it is a very tight gun but has some cylinder side-to-side play. It does not have any front-to-back cylinder play. The cylinder stops do not have any wear but the cylinder latch(bolt stop) seems a little undersized. The lock-up at each chamber has the same amount of play. Is a larger cylinder release available that would eliminate some of this play or is it normal? This is my first Ruger revolver so I am not sure what to expect. I have had other revolvers that had no play whatsoever and some that had some play even when new.
Any input is greatly appreciated!

My SW686 has maybe .010" of side-to-side (rotational) cylinder play in lockup. Doesn't affect accuracy and I don't see any shaving at the forcing cone. I don't think it matters much as long as the gun shoots well. Front-to-rear cylinder play is important as that affects barrel/cylinder gap, but you said that yours is tight.
