Second shooting incident in 2 days at retirement community

Convenient, that on an election year and on the anniversary of some pretty drastic events we have yet another couple of dramatic events. Seems pretty strange that every time the POSes in charge are on a gun control rampage something like this happens. Call me a conspiracy kook, but coincidence once, coincidence twice...

Peoria is at the western part of the megalopolos known as Metro Phoenix. It has been making all the news. Channel 12 reported that the guy had "an M16." I had my doubts.

One thing the old, disgruntled geezer knew was that the other, old geezers would be unarmed.

The guy hadn't been living there for about 8 months and had been feuding with the home association for as long as anyone could remember. He refused to allow grounds keepers to do their gardening chores on his former property. People that stepped off the sidewalk momentarily and found their feet on his yard got yelled at. Threats were common.

He has a restraining order on him and eventually moved when his home was foreclosed on him. Before he left after the foreclosure, he took a chainsaw to the inside of the house.

Quite a history.

I'm waiting for Phoenix/Peoria to propose a Connecticut-type "Turn in your neighbor law".
