Second glock model to purchase

So far I have the following glocks in gen 4 - 17, 19 and 26. I'm liking all of them but having a hard time on which one to get a second of.... any recommendations?

If you carry, I would get a second of whichever model it is you use the most. If not, I would then say the g19. It is easily the most versatile, newer shooters in my experience gravitate to that grip size the most.

I would not get a second of anything. I really don't see the purpose. If you want another Glock for carry, I'd probably look at the G43 (single stack 9mm) or maybe the G42 (subcompact .380). If you want something different for home or range, I'd suggest the G21 (full size .45acp). Just my 2¢.

CZ p-01 or Shield

If it were me I'd ditch all three of those and get the P-01 for HD and range time fun gun, and a Shield for carry. Or since you're used to bulky CC guns the P-01.

However.com if you must go glock get the G40.

FWIW...I couldn't stand my 26, but did love my g20. I ended up ditching my 20 because I didn't reload at the time and 10mm was out of my budget, my eyes were bigger than my wallet. I just never could warm up to the 26, shot great, I just didn't like the short grip.

I guess I'm going to have to agree with the rest of the world and recommend a second 19 only the MOS version.

OP, it's hard to tell you what might work for you based on what works for me. I have the Gen3 17 & 19 and the Gen4 21 & those are what work for me. I've had the 19 I have now for just a few months, I don't know that the new production Gen3 Glocks are generally very good but this one is excellent, with a really good stock trigger. I don't need more Glocks and I'll keep what I have.

I have the large BT backstrap on the 21 because the wider slide on this one carves up the web of my shooting hand without it. I don't have the same problem with the 17 & 19, and IMHO I think the Gen3 versions of these two guns work better for me than the Gen4 versions do.

Personally I'd work on better shooting techniques by practicing with the guns you already have;)

Glock 19 MOS.

It depends on the purpose of the gun. For carry, I really like the 19, but my wardrobe lends itself to carrying larger pistols. Lots of folks prefer the 26 or 27.

For a new carry gun, look at the G43. I think I'd rather have the S&W Shield, but the G43 is very popular.

For a new range gun, I'd be looking at the 17 MOS or 34 MOS. Not that I've ever even seen one up close, much less shot one, but they seem like they'd be fun at the range.

For a new farm/truck gun, G21. It's hard to argue with 13 rounds of .45 acp, and I've found the G21 to be a pretty soft shooter.
