and no i can't have a 1911 in 9mm i asked:mad: any help guys

There are lots of them. Can you just get a conversion kit for the 1911? If not, look at the CZ 75, Baby Eagle, S&W 3913, 910, 915, Taurus PT92 or 911, Springfield, H&K, and the list goes on and on. You're really going to have to narrow it down to full size (5"), compact(4"), sub-compact (3"), double stack mag, blue, stainless, steel-only or alloy, etc.

If it must be all metal then a Ruger P95 won't work - it has a polymer frame.

However, a Ruger P89 fits the bill - alloy frame, DA/SA with decocker/safety or decocker or DAO, 15 round original magazines and 17 round aftermarket magazines available, great reputation for reliability and sturdiness. You should be able to pick up a nice example for well under $500.

Taurus 92. 17+1 9mm, alloy frame. They are nicer than the Beretta 92fs I had. I think the new ones can be carried cocked and locked. Around 450$ or less new.

The Beretta 92 Centurion is no longer made, but they aren't that hard to find.
It's a compact 92FS and uses a 15 round mag.

I bought mine brand new when I did because it felt really nice in the hand, although I have to admit that I've never fired it. However, I would imagine that it would feel pretty much like any 92FS while firing.
I'll also admit that I bought it over the full-size 92FS because it was "prettier" in that it doesn't have that little bit of barrel hanging out the front like the full-size does.

I have a P-89 Ruger and it is a great gun. It is accurate enough for me and I have never had a FTF or a FTE.

mine came with 15 round mags, you can get 17 round flush fit mags as well, and 20 rounders that stick out about an inch or so are also available.

Mine was slightly used and came with 5-15 round mags and a magazine loader and hard case for $389.

Good luck even finding a deal for $500. Any place you can find a steel gun will price gouge you.

All the discount places are out of good deals on guns.

A year ago you could have gotten lots of good guns for under $500. Things have change, but good luck.

Maybe a used of any suggested.

my credit card hurts .....stoeger cougar 9mm wins and was on sale 400 out the door when a used beretta 92fs also found it's way to my gun safe lol i sooo broker untell friday........ damm gun sale....:)

thanks guys

p.s. what the break in for a couger 9mm ?

Good job, looks like your back in business.

Let us know how that Cougar works out (Long and short term), because we already know about the Beretta.

All metal means all steel in my book. If I were in your shoes I would have choosen between a CZ 75 or a BHP if you realy wish to get a real all metal 9 mm gun. You can choose the one which fits you better between these two pistols.
