Sears Roebuck Model 433 by AYA

Go to shotgun world and under the Spanish forum the first post is a sticky that should give you some info.

That is if you haven't been there already.

I don't check this section very often, but I had one of those Sears-Roebuck AYA's in 20 Ga., many years ago. Mine had 28" barrels, 3" chambers, and was choked M/F. Story I heard at the time from the fellow at Sears was that AYA built them for Sears, and used apprentice labor to do the checkering and engraving. The checkering on the one I had was very nice, as was the very slight amount of engraving around the receiver and chambers. Man that was a pretty gun. One of the few guns I really regret selling. Even worse I had the stock cut down so my ex-wife could use it. (shakes head). IIRC, I paid about $200 for it, in I don't know, late 70's maybe, early 80's. Which was a good bit of money then.

I remember the Sears store where I got mine had two of them in stock, a 12 and 20. The 12 didn't look near as nice as the one I got, but then 20 ga SXS's just look "right" to me.
