I have many rounds down the tubes in that pistol (mostly reloads)and its reliable. Did a 2000 round review but should have waited to 5000 anyway. Went way past that with no problems.

The trigger spring kit and trigger from Apex really lightened the pull and improved it a bunch.

Not: If you plan to carry that thing remember the trigger if you do spend the few bucks on one.

I came very close to picking one of these up myself last week. My local Dunham's actually had a pretty good deal on them.

Mine is bone stock and I like it that way. The take down lever is a piece of cake once you figure it out (easy and painless).

Decent gun, good value. Couldn't get used to the heavy long trigger, didn't really want to go aftermarket. Does Apex have a good reputation? Has anyone noticed any problems with their kits, like failures to fire? They are popular for sure.

I still own a sw40ve. I picked up mine for $200, so at that price I have zero complaints. It goes bang every time I pull the trigger and puts a hole where I aim.

I'm tempted to pick up a SD9VE every time I see them on sale. The triggers are better than my sigma plus they just for my hand well.
