scratches on revolver frame

Hey guy. I just bought a used ruger SP101. It shoots great and i love it. However when i was cleaning it after taking it to the range today i noticed that there were some small scratches above the trigger guard. Not major things but enough to annoy me. Is there any cost effective way i can fix these?

If stainless than it will polish off pretty well. playboypenguin has done several.
If blued, I just cover them with Sharpie marker for pics...:o
