Scratches On Hard Chrome

Kentucky Rifle

New member
I've carried my P-32 quite a bit. There are some light "mars" in the dull silver finish of the hard chrome. These marks are not deep enough to be called scratches. I was wondering if anyone had ever tried the white Scotch-Brite on marks like these to restore the finish? Think I could do it an not make them worse?

hoe about a Dremel buffing wheel? scotchbrite will definitely scratch more. or 1200 grit or better sandpaper and wetsand

kentucky rifle, your gun is ruined and unsafe. send it to me and i will include it in my junk gun collection.

Gun definitely unsafe--fires when trigger pulled

I agree, your gun is ruined.;)

Just kiddin'.

I have had good luck with 1200 or 1500 grit sandpaperapplied very lightly on other guns. I don't bother 'til I get a few scratches though.

Regards.
