The "Scout" mounts that attach to the Mauser rear sight base place the scope much too high. You'll have to raise your head off the stock to see through the scope. These things were obviously designed by people who don't shoot much, if at all.
Much better solutions are the Ching Ring from Beast Enterprises, as RickD mentioned, or the similar Ashley Outdoors (www.ashleyoutdoors.com) scout mount. These mounts place the scope much lower, and allow you to maintain a good cheek weld on the stock while shooting.
