Scope Rings

Gents....I have a eabco barrel for my encore that came with their base. I want to use the Burris signature zee rings on the base as the base is suppose to accept these weaver style burris rings...
As you can see the gap between the bottom of the ring and top of the base....will this setup work ok??????

The rings I use look exactly the same way. I haven't had any problems with the Signature rings.

Sorry guys but those rings don't look right to me - check the book and make sure those are what they specify.
But, and I mean no offense, but I have a very low opinion of the Encore anyway.

It is normal for a minute amount of lite to be seen under the mount just laid on the gun - but none when screwed down.
