Scope Ring Question

I have a Sako Finnebear 30-06. Will Millett medium 30mm mts work with a 3x9 by 40 scope work?? thanks for any help

If you have a 30mm scope, use 30mm rings. If you have an inch scope, use inch rings.

The two most common ring and scope tube diameters are 1" and 30mm. You need to match ring diameter and scope tube diameter.

Medium rings will work with a 40mm front objective. With many rifle/scope combinations you can use low rings, but it just depends on the individual rifle and scope. If lows will fit, I always use the lowest that will fit on the gun.

But you must first detrermine if the scope has a 30mm tube or a 1" tube. Then buy either a 30mm or 1" rings.
