Scope ring question- Full length or offset?

Alright, last questions from me for awhile, I promise! :)

I'm trying to decide between these two scope mounts for my Mossberg 702 bolt-action to replace the small, cheap two-piece ring set that came with the scope and keep slipping. The links are below. The one on the top is the full length version with three hex screws to tighten the base to the dovetail rails; the bottom one is the offset version which only has two screws.

Basically, I'm wondering if the full length base would still allow me to easily work the bolt and keep the scope out of the way of ejecting brass. I'd rather have that one than the offset one because I think the full length one would be more stable and durable.

Thanks for the help!

PS. I have a little 4x32 rimfire scope if it matters. I don't need anything more than that.

Your 4 x 32 should have plenty of eye relief to not need the extended base. If it was mine, I'd get the full length one. It won't get in the way of your ejected brass.

Okay thanks to both of you. I just ordered the full length one. I didn't know that the offset one was meant more for high-recoiling rifles, not for avoiding bolts and such as I had imagined.
