Went out this weekene and got hooked on .22 rimfire silouets (sorry, not the world's best speller). I've got an old Remington 512 that can deliver the accuracy, now I need a good scope. I'm looking at some Mil-Dots but all the old brands seem to be gone. (Bushnell, Tasco, Weaver, etc.) I don't want the price of a Leupold. What is a good scope with MilDot for no more than $150.00?

Bushnell elite 3200

Bushnell makes an elite 3200 with mil-dot reticle. It's a bit much for a .22, though. It's also a little out of the $150 price, but not by a whole lot. I've found them for about $180 at opticsplanet. It's a good optic for the money, with the only downfall is it's a 10x fixed power. I have one on my 7mag and it works great.

Scoops on scopes

The Leupold rifleman is around $179.00, the Nikon buckmaster is 154.00,[Box mart] and the Sightron S2 is 199.00. [MidwayUSA}. These scopes can be put on a larger caliber later. The BSA, Tasco, and Bushnell are ok, but spend a little extra and get quality. E-Bay has some deals on the Dot scopes.

The less expensive models by Nikon, Burris, and Leopold don't feature an adjustable parallax. This can cause problems when shooting at close distances. I'd try one of them out, if possible, before commiting to them. The Weaver scopes are also quite nice.
