Scope question

I have a Weaver 4-16 x 42mm scope that has their fine crosshair reticle. Is is possible to have the reticle changed to something that is easier to see?? I find that unless it is a nice sunny day I can't seem to see the crosshair very well. It's even worse if the target that I'm using is black.

I doubt it, but check into Premier Reticles, they offer the service you seek, but only AFAIK on Leupolds.
