Turrets are adjustable for windage/elevation.

3.5x10 VX3 W/turrets.

Turrets is what you want! = custom order, or Leupold can put them on an existing scope.

Dont buy the cheap Stoney Point crap either.

Good and bads...

I have been looking at a few scopes.. iv made a list of ones im interested in.
Please tell me which scopes i should give a good look at and which ones
i shouldnt touch.. and if the prices are too high or great deals for that scope.
And some pro's/Con's of the scopes so i know which one i should look at and which ones to stay away from.

OK you mentioned 200-500yd shots, so that would rule out the Nikon MZ and Slughunter scopes right off the batt....they are designed for specific bullet weights and shotgun shells, so forget them plus the hash marks only go to 250 yds.
Next Barska.....holy cow Barska! I wouldnt wish them on my worst enemy!
If you wanted to go cheap go ahead and get the Nikon Prostaff but you wont have your turrets for Win/Elev.
Out of any of those scopes mentioned I could if I had to handicap myself with the Bushnell 3200 but like I mentioned earlier I would get the Leupold and send it to the factory to add turrets.

Remington 700 SPS 30-06.

the Leupold VX-3 is like my ideal.
but way too costly for me..
makes it either my scope or my taurus 92..
and iv been itchin for my 92 for a while now.

But yea i have been looking for a full mildot
or modern range finder hairs for my scope..

a weaver 6x would be great, why do you feel you need turret adjustments?
with a little practice range can be compensated for.

CK, check out Ebay for used Leupold scopes.....nows a good time for prices.
Why turret adjustments? nothing like having the crosshairs ON the target when your shooting.
Not only that they are way faster then mildots or guessing holdover.

Yea exactly..
and i like the math/calculations needed for
the adjustments to get that shot...juuuusssttt right..
