Scope Question

I read this here in some other posting but what is the problem with Simmons scopes? Someone here on TFL made the statement that they were not to popular. I just happened to have just purchased one. I bought a Mag 44 to mount on a Gibbs Survivor Quest rifle. I hope I didn't make to bad of a mistake.

I've never seen a problem with their upper level scopes myself.
 
I've heard the same thing myself, but don't know exactly what the problem might be. That said, I have a Simmons Whitetail Classic I got on sale at Midway a couple of years ago. Have it mounted on my .223 single-shot, and have no complaints with it at this time. Works just fine and holds its zero.

Recieved the scope today. Looks pretty good and should just work out fine. Came with a certificate for a free Outers bench rest,so I don't think from what I can see I did to bad.
