Scope mounting questions

I will be mounting a 30 mm dia. scope on my Rem 700 LTR and plan on using the Leupold quick disconnect mounting system. Would the one piece or two piece mount be better? With the one piece you only have 3 screws attaching it and it may get in the way with loading/cleaning the rifle. The two piece would attach with all 4 screws, but is it just as sturdy being two pieces? Would the Leupold Weaver style QD mount be better than the std. Leupold QD system? What experiences have you guys had? Thanks.

It is really up to your own tastes. Some would argue that a one piece base will make your action just a little more "stiffer". One advantage of a one piece weaver style base is that you will have more options as far as mounting your scope foreward or rearward. I have noticed that some two piece mounts don't let me get the scope far enough forward to get a good sight picture in the prone.
