Scope mount

First time at this forum. Great site!!! Heard about this page from Tom Grishom and his radio show "Gun Talk". Appreciate any and all answers to my question. I mounted a Pro-Point III sight to my Browning Buck Mark. Due to the way the mount is made, I only have room for one of the scope rings to hold the sight. Is this enough support for the sight, since it's only a .22, or should I modify the mount so that I can put the other scope ring on? Thanks much!!

Topkick, welcome to the site. I've seen a couple that worked with only one ring and a couple that didn't. I'd say shoot it and see. If accuracy doesn't begin to fall off then you don't have a problem. You'll be able to tell real quick I imagine. George

Thanks George. Haven't even sighted it in yet, but you're right, it wouldn't take long to find out if anythings going wrong. Again, thanks.
