Steel vs Aluminium?
would see-thru mounts hold up to the recoil of a 12G schotgun up to 3" shells?
The gun is a combo 12G over a 223 Rem IZH 94 with 11mm scope base
Any good mount should hold. just make sure that you install the proper rings and mounts for the scope and shotgun and follow the directions.
I prefer steel myself.
I confused the mount wit the scope rings.
The gun hasallready a 11mm dovetail mount.
I am thinking of Leupold 54231 steelrings for 11mm mount with a Bushnell 1.5 - 4.5 x 32 shotgunscope.
