K Kaylee New member Sep 26, 2001 #2 a gunsmith buddy of mine swears by the Smith Enterprises mount.. in fact he just gave me a Springfield Gen 3 cause it wasn't up to his specs. works for me though.. -K

S Snapsho7 New member Sep 27, 2001 #6 The BEST mount for an M1A/M14 is a Brookfield mount. Thr ARMS mount is considered just as good or a close second. Unfortunetly I don't think you can buy Brookfield mounts anymore. Fortunetly I already have mine
