My dad and I went to the lgs yesterday, and he ended up coming home with a Remington SPR18 in .30-06. He wants to put a scope on it, but the rail would only allow a rimfire-type mounting system. What kind of scope and mounts would you use? Also, I'd like to see some pictures of a SPR18 with a scope mounted. He probably wouldn't want to spend over $300 on a scope, as that is what he payed for the gun.
