Scope for AR-15?

I'd like to add a scope to my Bushmaster, A-2 Top end. I want to buy one of those "see through" scope mounts that attach to the handle, and a scope.

Can you guys recommend a scope that could provide quick target acquisition? I'm not looking for a hyper accurate 24 power target-only type scope. Something a little more practical. There's a 3-9X Tasco World Class on sale at Midway, would this work well?

I have had good luck with the 4 power Colt scope which mounts on the carrying handle.
