I've been messing around with the idea of a Marlin 925, CZ 452, or a Ruger 77/22. I like using my TechSights iron sights on my Ruger 10/22, but most bolt action .22s don't have very good options for iron sights. I think only the CZ would accept TechSights, I'd have to tap in a front sight for the 77/22, and the Marlin doesn't accept the iron sights I would like. So I'm probably going to buy a scope. I'll keep it at a low power, 2-4x because I will be using my rifle for hunting small game. Who makes a quality rimfire scope? My father is recommending Nikon, I guess he feels they are a reputable optics company, so they should manufacture quality scopes. I've heard good things about Leupold also. Any quality American companies to consider? I love buying domestic products. Thanks for any advice.
