SCAR 17 Magazines

I don't know if this is the proper place to post this..........but in trying to purchase extra magazines for my new FNH SCAR, I found that the magazines for said weapon are proprietary. The magazines for the 16 S are not. Just an FYI

Word is more should be coming in, in the 2nd qtr of 2012, for sale. They have been going for ridiculous amount on gunbroker for a $35 mag.

Why did FN decides to use a proprietary mag design for SCAR H is :confused:

For $2.5k-3k rifle and only 1 mag comes with it :mad:, when there is plenty of Pmag, SR25 mag, etc. that could have been utilized for the platform.
