SBR paperwork or AOW? which one for a pistol with a vertical foregrip?

If one day i am bored and go out and buy a glock (doubt i will, but just for sake of discussion) and then I am still bored so I look at the accessory rail and say to myself, 'Self, one of those AR-style vertical foregrips would fit right on there!"
But before I run out to buy a rail mounted vertical foregrip I remember that I need a Class III NFA permission slip before to avoid legal trouble.
Which one do I need?
Especially interested as one is 5 bucks and the other is 200!

You need to complete ATF FORM 1 (Application to Manufacture) to make an AOW. It is $200 to make. All transfers after that are $5.

Ouch. Cant get by that 200 dollar STOP SIGN.
Maybe for a full auto its worth it, but for a little piece of plastic or wood that I'd probably remove anyway after like 5 minutes... I'll pass.
