I'm addicted to the Internet in the same way I'm addicted to books and addicted to thinking. I don't really see a downside to this monkey on my back.

I am an addict. I spend more time with my computers than I do with my family. At work I am online all day, and when I get home I'm online from 11-2 probably longer. I have IM and ICQ and use those more than use the phone. If i could, i would have a modem connected to my Nokia 5190 and surf the web on my palm pilot (the Palm VII id no good).
I am an addict and I'm proud of it.
