thats what i thought and afraid of. the trigger was horrible and i have worked on it and have it down to bout 3lbs w/ no creep. but im not sure if that is safe since the safety is only trigger block.
guess i wil just have to keep the chamber empty, hu?

thanks buzz

It is a trigger block. I've adjusted a couple down to the 3lb's with no problems. Did you replace the trigger spring with smaller gauge music wire and just clean up the services, maybe stone some off of the sear to do away with the creep? I'd cock it on an empty chamber and bounce the butt pad off the floor and see if it goes off. Should be safe though.

didnt replace the spring. just reduced the sear engagement with file and lightened the spring tension adjustment screw. it had a heck of a lot of travel before. pretty simple fix. ive banged it around a bit w/o problem.
